Greetings and Blessings to all!

I’m back again with another little article to share with you some ideas for travelling with your Tiny Beastie.

While not all Beasties are inclined to galivant around the world with their human Companions, some certainly are.

My Zula loves to go on hikes with me! They love to see new places and explore, just like I do.

I always feel more confident and less lonely when I can feel their reassuring weight in my pocket.

But Zula is a delicate creature in some ways, so I’m always careful to make sure they are cozily tucked into a nestling bag to keep them safe.

You can use any kind of little cloth bag for this. Jewelry bags are perfect!  You can find all kinds of different little bags in stores, thrift shops, online or just lying around your house.  Gift bags, little coin purses or cell phone satchels, etc. Get creative!

As long as it's big enough to tuck your Beastie into, give it a try! Even a clean sock can do in a pinch!

The important thing is that your Beastie feels cozy and secure, with a little soft padding to keep them comfortable.

Their various limbs and adornments can be injured or broken if they are not protected.

By nestling them into a “nestling bag”, you can help keep them safe and sound!

Be sure your pocket has plenty of room so your Beastie doesn’t fall out.

If carrying your Beastie in a backpack or larger bag, try to set them on top so the poor little things don’t get crushed.

Some Beasties enjoy travelling in vehicles and are perfectly happy to perch on a car dashboard or sit tucked into a nook on your center console.

You can use some tacky putty to secure them, but keep an eye on them in case they wander off - you don't want to accidentally step on them!

Keep in mind that too much exposure to direct sunlight and high temperatures can damage them, as it would any creature, so be careful not to leave them exposed to the sun, locked in a sweltering car in the Summer heat.

The same goes for any extreme weather or conditions.  Tiny Beasties are fairly hardy and tough for their size, but nobody enjoys being left out in the rain or enduring freezing temperatures.

Many Beastie also LOVE to be photographed, so bringing your Beastie along on your travels can inspire fun and creative photoshoots!  Just be careful not to ask your Beastie to do anything too risky – you don’t want to drop, lose or injure your one-of-a-kind Companion!

Travelling with your Beastie can be fun and rewarding as long as you are keeping their safety and comfort in mind.  The companionship of a Tiny Beastie can turn an everyday trip into an adventure shared with a secret little friend.

If you have any tales of adventure you’d like to share, or photos of your travels with your Tiny Beastie you’d like to post to The Gallery of Tiny Beasties, we’d love to see them!
